We curate structured learning projects to help your people practice vital soft skills. Through targeting skills around management and leadership, this process empowers your people to practice skills in a safe environment, where they can receive guidance and specific and meaningful feedback to help them consolidate and build on the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.

By maintaining a closed and engaged community of international causes, we’re able to connect your employees with a variety of good causes who need help and understand our process and how to engage with your people to provide the best possible experience.

We believe in volunteering in a way that’s truly meaningful to the individual, your business and the organisations they support. Through providing clearly defined projects, designed to help charities and good causes overcome their organisational obstacles, your people can make a tangible impact through Ethical Angel. The projects aim to maximise the value for all participants whilst empowering your people to utilise and develop their business skills in a fresh and engaging way.

In completing our standardised projects, your people can help save good causes a minimum £900 on average, whilst developing skills that can empower your people to bring new approaches and learnings into the workplace.

With thousands of projects completed by charities in over 52 different countries, we have collected just a few case studies from causes we partner with.

Practice the skills that matter

Ethical Angel provides a practice environment for learners to apply their skills in real-life scenarios, gaining valuable experience to utilise within their careers.

Our projects allow learners to practice a wide range of skills and behaviours from leadership to communication through a range of tried and tested projects delivered to good causes. These team-based projects foster collaboration and shared learning experiences.

Each project is facilitated by specialists on both the learner and cause sides. These experts allow the participant teams to focus solely on what matters in order to deliver the project subject matter for the cause. At the end of each process, we gather feedback from each team member and partnering causes.

Each project aligns to a specific UN SDG through the cause and participants can claim up to 50 hours CPD certification upon completion of a project.

Step 1: Design the program

Our team will work with you to understand the learning goals that you are trying to achieve:

What skills? What behaviours? What time frame?

Step 2: Create the projects

Our team will reach out to our extensive network of charities to ensure there is a project ready to go for the learner(s) when they are ready to practice:

Community - we have established a close-knit community of active good causes and regularly update them to keep them informed of progress and opportunities.
Prep - we frequently survey our charities requirements to develop and assign projects. This information helps us match charities with learners for mutually beneficial experiences.
Delivery - projects are sourced, hosted, and managed through the Ethical Angel platform, supported by our user success team.

Step 3: Project initiation

Our team is committed to collaborating closely with your organisation and the causes to ensure a seamless process. This includes:

Pre-project welcome sessions, where we introduce Ethical Angel to the learners and explain how it works.
A dedicated account manager who will be with you from the project's beginning to completion, handling everything in between.
Weekly drop-in sessions for any questions, queries, and casual check-ins to stay connected.

Step 4: Project interaction

The learner journey comprises four stages carefully designed to guide learners through their experience. Throughout this journey, our team is readily available to provide support every step of the way.

Discovery: Learners and the charity get acquainted and discuss the brief.
Design: Learners prepare a first draft of the deliverable.
Delivery: Learners present their first draft and receive feedback.
Review: Learners submit the final draft for review.

Step 5: Project feedback

This is where the magic happens. Upon conclusion, the charity offers feedback on both the project and the behaviours linked to the learning initiative. This allows the learner to:

Reflect on the experience

Entrench the positive behaviours and skills

Take those learnings into their role and succeed

In addition to feedback from the charity, administrators and team leaders get rich 360 reporting to understand progress and target future learning.
